Piano Lessons with Creative Styles by Philippine Normal University Tutor

I'm Anna Casidsid, a Filipina and a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Music Education at Philippine Normal University Manila. I am a licensed Professional Music Teacher and for over 7years, I specialized in teaching piano, music theory, voice and other instruments such as violin, guitar, ukulele and bandurria. Whether you are a beginner, child or adult, I tailor lessons to enhance your skills in whatever instruments you love to learn From mastering scales to perfecting performance skills I ensure a comprehensive learning experience! I also have experience in handing church choir. I used to be our church pianist since I am eight years old and choir conductor when I am eighteen years old. I hope I could be able to share and inspire you with my passion and enthusiasm in making beautiful and harmonious music!

My teaching approach focus on teaching Music theory at first most specially for students starting from scratch up to beginner. Once they learn or master the note reading there are engaging activities prepared for them so they will be motivated to practice on their own. It sounds extrinsic motivation at first but later on, as they will able to love what they are doing intrinsic motivation will surely follow. I created a daily practice sheet, a pointing system and a badge incentive so that my students will really take time to practice and be motivated to learn and make an advance studies even on their own. Since I started teaching kids I found it really effective to my students and I am confident that with over 600 students I handled, they would agree that my creativity, passion, dedication and resourcefulness in teaching are really a plus
