Guitar lessons quick guide
My teaching focuses on building usable repertoire, ensuring students enjoy what they practice to maximise their time on the instrument. I believe progress comes faster when you love what you’re playing, so we work on songs that inspire you while developing technique and musicality. I have a large library of quality teaching material ready, covering various styles and levels, but I also prepare special exercises tailored to each student’s needs, addressing specific areas like timing, technique, or improvisation. This approach keeps lessons engaging, structured, and relevant, helping students build confidence and a strong, practical skill set while staying motivated. I also help students apply what they learn to live performance and recording, supporting them in finding their unique musical voice. I believe everyone can be musical.

Guitar concepts taught by Paolo
Paolo taught David two new guitar chords, C and D, and introduced basic music theory concepts, including the major scale, whole tones, semitones, sharps, and flats. David practiced the new chords and a finger exercise to improve coordination. For his assignment, David is to practice the new chords, explore songs using G, E minor, D, and C, and continue with the finger exercise for coordination.
