India Rose - Get to know your vocal coach
Hi, I’m a singing teacher with a big love for jazz, pop and musical theatre singing, storytelling, through song and helping people find their true voice — literally! I specialise in training singers of all levels and all genres who want to develop their vocal technique, boost confidence, and bring real emotion and character to their performance. I hold a First-Class Honours degree from the Guildford School of Acting (GSA) — one of the UK’s leading drama schools — and a Grade 8 in Musical Theatre Singing, so you're in safe hands! My training gave me a deep understanding of both voice and performance, and I love helping students connect technique with artistry. Whether you’re a child or adult just trying out singing, gearing up for drama school auditions, tackling tricky repertoire, or just want to belt out your favourite showtunes with more power and control, I’ll help you unlock your full potential in a friendly, supportive space. Lessons with me are fun, focused, and fun! I believe everyone has a voice worth sharing — and my goal is to help you share yours with confidence and creativity.

Singing lessons highlights
My teaching is rooted in the understanding that the whole body is your instrument, not just the voice. I place strong emphasis on breath control, diaphragmatic support, and developing an awareness of how the body and voice work together to produce a free, resonant sound. Each lesson begins with a full-body warm-up — including exercises for the face, tongue, jaw, and posture — to release tension and prepare both the voice and the body for expressive singing. I help students connect to their breath, find grounding through the diaphragm, and build strength and flexibility in their vocal production. This creates a solid technical foundation that supports confident, healthy singing across all musical theatre styles. My goal is to help singers feel empowered, connected, and fully present — using their breath, body, and voice in harmony to tell compelling stories through song.
