Singing concept taught by Madeline
Maddie Malo provided vocal coaching to Jason Davis, concentrating on improving his head voice, belting technique, and transitions between vocal registers. During their lesson, they worked on exercises to differentiate and practice these techniques. Jason then applied the concepts to his original song, focusing on vowel modifications for smoother belting. Maddie offered to do session work for Jason's label and requested he send her the song.

Maddie worked on vocal technique with a student at the Northside School of Music, specifically focusing on breath control, vocal placement, and transitioning between chest and head voice. The learner practiced exercises to reduce airiness in their tone and improve note accuracy. Maddie assigned them to listen to Stevie Wonder and Charlie Puth for examples of vocal techniques and to identify a song to work on next lesson. They also discussed vowel modifications for belting. Future lessons will focus on applying these techniques to original songs.
