Maddie Malo provided vocal coaching to Jason Davis, concentrating on improving his head voice, belting technique, and transitions between vocal registers. During their lesson, they worked on exercises to differentiate and practice these techniques. Jason then applied the concepts to his original song, focusing on vowel modifications for smoother belting. Maddie offered to do session work for Jason's label and requested he send her the song.
