Nathan - Get to know your vocal coach
I am an experienced voice and piano teacher with two years of experience and direct education in this line of study. My goal is to make you as confident and musical as possible, while enhancing your performance skills. As a vocalist, my performance credits include several operas at my Alma mater of Roosevelt University, such as: the role of Harlekin in Der Kaiser Von Atlantis, Basilio in Le Nozze di Figaro, Mr. Jenna and Martin in the Tender Land, and the primo soldier in L’incorinazione di Poppea. My piano credits include 13 years of training, classes on harpsichord, organ, and piano maintenance and repertoire, as well as accompanying experience as both a voice teacher and general accompanist. I am excited to take off on my teaching career here at Wiingy, and proud to offer my experience and training to you, to help you take your voice or piano skills to the next level!

Singing lessons highlights
My experience as a teacher is primarily based in the Hungarian Kodaly method of ear training, teaching from a classical and theatre based perspective, and building confidence in any student. I am a firm believer that the primary wall between progress and the student is a lack of a pedagogical knowledge and confidence in a subject matter. With my 13 years of experience in my fields, I aim to bring musical enrichment to the lives of my students while fostering their ability to perform for an audience. I am comfortable teaching extended techniques and music of all genres, as well as establishing the basics for all beginners I meet. I believe that everyone can sing if they dedicate the time and practice towards it. I am happy to work with any skill level or age - I just want to make singing feel fun and easy for everyone I teach. Let’s make singing fun and easy together!
