Experienced and friendly singing teacher with over 20 years teaching experience offering online singing lessons

My love for singing started early on at the age of 5 having been involved in many productions around the UK. In 1999 I gained a BTEC National Diploma in performing arts. I also attended The Southern School of Popular Singing from 1996 - 2001 where I became a principal singer of a 65 strong choir called “En-Masse”, performing in many entertainment venues around the UK. In 1999 I won the British Resorts Association Search for a star at the Bournemouth Pavilion, which saw me gain a place at the national finals where I later came 1st. It was here I was spotted by a producer from the BBC, giving me my very own BBC1 documentary called “The Monkey Man” I have landed many UK Shows touring with the likes of Gene Pitney, Westlife, Steps, The Sugababes and Alan Carr to name a few. I have also performed on many TV shows around the world. To this date one of my favourite venues to perform at was “Sunday Night Live At The London Palladium” In the summer of 2007 I auditioned for the first series of “Britain’s Got Talent” where I was successful in making it through to the live shows after being deemed “Super entertaining” by Simon Cowell. I later went on to place second in the live grand final. Since “BGT”, I have performed internationally appearing on TV shows in various countries around the world. I have notched up over 50 million hits on YouTube alone. Having always been an avid animal lover, I featured as the lead character voicing the Cavalier Campaign music video, highlighting the breeding crisis which led to the development of Lucy’s Law passing in 2020. Since becoming a Singing/Vocal Coach I have enjoyed putting my professional experiences to good use, teaching at 4 different drama schools such as Stagecoach & TLOTS. I continue to perform all around the world from stage to screen and behind the scenes.

Having worked as a professional singer in the music industry for over 25 years and more than 15 years as a singing teacher, I have a true passion and understanding for not only how to help students improve their vocal ability, but to become a much more confident singer & performer. During your first singing lesson, I will assess your current vocal strengths and weaknesses as well as mark your vocal range. I will then be able to offer custom warmups, exercises & songs that will improve your vocals, technique & range. Song choices will be kept to your preferred music style. My aim is to have you feeling a difference in your voice by the end of the first lesson..! It doesn't matter if you are a beginner, pro, aged 5 or 105, I will provide you with a singing lesson tailored to your needs. Covering pop to classical or musical theatre to jazz - you decide!
