Annica - Your piano teacher
My name is Annica Magnusson, and I’ve been teaching piano for over four years. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Music with a concentration in Piano Performance and have a deep passion for sharing the joy of music. I work with students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced players. Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your skills, I’m here to support and guide your musical journey. I specialize in classical, contemporary, and sight-reading, and I enjoy incorporating music theory and engaging games into lessons to keep learning fun and effective. Each lesson is thoughtfully tailored to the individual student’s goals and needs. I take pride in building strong connections with my students and helping them grow with confidence and creativity. If you're ready to take your piano skills to the next level, I’d love to work with you!

In my personalized tutoring approach, I block time for personal pieces, memorization, music theory, and ear training. I like to make things engaging and comprehensive in the best ways for each student, whether that involves creating a game out of learning your scales or exploring different practice techniques to make your piece more precise and clear. I like to focus on what each student needs most while also integrating other subjects that can help them overall. I enjoy helping each student find the best ways to practice and make plans for their practice sessions to best progress and remain as productive as possible. I like to keep my classes as supportive where students are not afraid to be vulnerable with me, but also able to take constructive criticism. I want each student to thrive and reach their full potential in playing the piano!
