Hello everyone! My name is Jaeho Cho, and I am a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience tutoring at the college level. I have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from UC Irvine, and I will be starting my doctoral degree in Chemistry at UC Riverside in Fall 2025. I specialize in various chemistry subjects and topics, including General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and Biochemistry. I also have experience working in Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry research labs. My sessions are a constant back-and-forth conversation about how confident you are with each concept, how you approach each question, and what next steps we can take together to improve your understanding and make you feel more confident about chemistry. I have over 4 years of tutoring experience working with more than 200 college and high school students. During that time, I have worked with students who had never taken chemistry before and those who were returning to college after years of not taking classes. I know how scary and intimidating chemistry can seem, and we will work together to make the concepts more fun and easier to understand by breaking them down into small, digestible pieces and relating them to real-life examples. I have also worked with students who performed better and had a better understanding of the subject than I did when I first took the class. We will explore together the gaps and misunderstandings in your knowledge and problem-solving skills, while making sure to highlight what you already know and what you have been doing well.
