The student practiced previously learned songs and began learning "Jesus Loves Me" and "Jingle Bells". The Tutor introduced and explained treble and bass clefs. The student was assigned to memorize "Can't Help Falling in Love," practice Jingle Bells, and review scales and chords, and teach a part of a song to Ollie.

The Student practiced playing "Greensleeves" on the violin, focusing on finger placement, string crossings, and rhythm, using a color-coded and numbered sheet music. They also worked on the harmonic minor scale with slurs and reviewed a previously learned exercise from their book. The Student was assigned to practice "Greensleeves" in chunks, isolate a difficult measure, and work on new exercises from the book, as well as try to beat the tutor's other student's note naming exercise high score.
