Singing Lessons with Specialized Techniques from Texas Tech University Educator

Hello! My name is Kiana Love and I'm a classically trained soprano. I have a Bachelor's in Vocal Performance and I am currently working on a dual Masters in Vocal performance and Vocal Pedagogy. I am originally from Florida, spent most of my life in Texas and currently reside in Oklahoma. I have over 5 years of experience as a voice teacher, ages ranging from 7-22. Despite my classical background, my interest lies in Jazz, Blues and especially Gospel music. My research passion is tracing and notating Gospel music history and pedagogy in American music. I have experience being an educator as well as a performer. I have performed in multiple roles on and off stage and love to integrate flexibility and adaptive techniques into my work. In my lessons, I focus on building confidence, flexibility, engagement, motivation, and patience to create a supportive learning environment. When a student is able to feel comfortable and secure in themselves and their environment, then they are about to have the most growth. Specializing in teaching pop singing, jazz singing, blues singing, classical singing, and general singing, I leverage a variety of tech tools like online platforms, interactive software, and video conferencing to deliver personalized tutoring sessions. With a curriculum tailored to individual needs, I cater to students from school to college levels, ensuring that each session is interactive, informative, and fun. My methodology strengths lie in adapting to different learning styles, fostering a love for music, and helping students hone their vocal skills effectively.
