Brandon - Violin teacher
Hi, I’m Brandon Gordon—a passionate and experienced music educator with nearly 20 years of helping students grow as musicians and individuals. I hold degrees in Music Education from the University of Georgia and Bowling Green State University, and I've spent my career directing award-winning orchestra programs across Georgia and Ohio. From leading school ensembles on performance tours in New York City and Washington D.C. to directing international honor groups through the Ohio Ambassadors of Music, I’ve always believed in the power of music to transform lives. Beyond the classroom, I’ve worked closely with students of all ages—whether coaching young beginners, guiding teens through auditions, or helping adults reconnect with their love of playing an instrument. I bring a warm, supportive, and structured approach to every lesson, always tailoring instruction to meet each student’s unique goals and learning style. What excites me most about working with Wiingy is the opportunity to connect with students and families from all walks of life—whether you're just starting your musical journey or looking to grow your skills further. I genuinely love working with both kids and adults, and I’m thrilled to be part of your musical path. Let’s make learning music fun, meaningful, and something you can be proud of.

Violin lessons overview
In every lesson, I strive to create a positive, engaging, and structured environment where students feel encouraged to take risks and grow. I use a blend of traditional and contemporary string pedagogy, with a strong emphasis on proper technique, musical expression, and building confidence. I tailor each session to meet the needs and goals of the individual—whether that means focusing on note-reading, ear training, preparing for an audition, or simply playing for fun. I often incorporate backing tracks, creative exercises, and student-selected repertoire to keep learning fresh and enjoyable. For younger students, I focus on establishing solid foundations while making sure music remains a joyful experience. For teens and adults, I provide goal-oriented instruction that balances skill-building with personal expression. No matter your age or experience level, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you get where you want to go—musically and personally.
