During a singing lesson, Cathy guided Annabel through vocal warm-ups, articulation exercises involving a tongue twister, and pitch control using "coo" exercises and arpeggios. Their work then shifted to analyzing and practicing Lady Gaga's "Hold My Hand," with a particular emphasis on vowel modification and breath support to refine tone and seamlessly blend chest and head voice. For her next lesson, Annabel was tasked with practicing the arpeggios and applying the discussed vocal principles to the initial two sections of the song.
