About your tutor

I got a perfect score in math on the SAT, ACT and GRE. On the SAT I did every problem 3 times. Then I have 3 years of teaching experience as a graduate student and 4 years of teaching math with Nomen Global. Nomen Global is the leading English School in my county, better than 2 big Universities here, and I was their only math teacher. I have also tutored on Zoom individually and I was never not able to raise a student's grade by 2 letters. I worked as a math exam tutor for an elderly woman in California. I am experienced with Zoom, Google Meet and the Pen Tab. When I applied to this job, my pen tab wasn't very good. They scheduled me a follow up in 2 days and I practiced for 7 hours! They didn't have a problem with my pen tab experience after that. I know that math is the core of letting students do what they want to try to help society and this job helps me help people in one of the most fundamental ways possible.

Class overview

Not only am I good at math, but I am a very good teacher. You can always simplify something into more basic steps. No one ever needs to go down as far down as is possible. I use scaffolding to make sure the students get everything. By testing them at every step, they have learned every step and are therefore prepared to do what they need to do. I use psychological techniques to go easy on them. Because of my math talent, when they get the wrong answer I can often see what they might have done wrong and I reward them for what they did right and help them with the rest. My teaching is very organized. Teaching is like doing math; there's a right way and a wrong way. I get to know the student and then I make myself understandable. They loved me so much at Nomen Global when I was there for 4 years that they wanted me to stay forever. I hope that I can get the same reaction from you.
