Singing lessons overview
I am a very hands-on person when it comes to my teaching style and will prioritize instruction from myself directly to you. I try to emphasize musicality, expressiveness, and building confidence in my lessons and these cores are what help guide my training. In other words, vocal warmups and even repertoire itself will be based in making sure that you are free, expressive, and musical. I prioritize your learning by keeping groups small, no more than ten people. This ensures that each person can have their own time to receive feedback and actually make progress in every lesson. Additionally, it allows me to personalize and tailor my material to the people I am working with so that I can help learners get exactly what they want from singing. I want to set-up students to feel pride in themselves and their skills, and to motivate them to love to practice on their own. I want to inspire others to love music just as much as I do!

Singing concept taught by Talia
Talia gave Shayel a voice lesson that included body and vocal warm-ups, breathing exercises, and pitch-matching practice to improve breath control and smooth transitions between vocal registers. Shayel worked on five-note scales and received feedback on pitch accuracy and hesitancy with high notes. Talia assigned breathing exercises and scale practice with a piano for the week and discussed scheduling the next lesson.
