Elizabeth - Your piano teacher
I am an experienced and BA Honours in Music qualified teacher with over 32 years of teaching experience. I love teaching music. It is my life and passion. I have taught all ages and levels from 3 years of age to over 80! All of my students have been entered for ABRSM music examinations as well as Trinity music exams, with 100% pass rate. I am an accredited UNISA teacher. I have taught class music, Classical Guitar, Piano, Keyboard as well as violin lessons. I believe that learning music should be enjoyable for both students and teachers, and music should always be fun! It is important to work hard, to achieve goals, but if music is enjoyable, students will want to learn and practice so much more! I look forward to meeting you and to sharing my love of music and teaching with you. Thank you for choosing me as your new music teacher! I know that we will make wonderful musical memories together.

Piano lessons at a glance
I believe that my teaching approach should encourage the development of the whole musician. I specialise in teaching a variety of instruments and subjects. Theory should be an integral part of the lesson, as well as the development of technique, sight-reading and aural skills. I am an empathetic teacher and I believe that I should guide and teach my students strategically so that they achieve as much as possible in a short space of time. Following a personalised curriculum, I cater to a diverse audience of over 200 students, including those in school, college and adult/professional setting at all skill levels. My methodology strengths lie in fostering a deep understanding of musical concepts while nurturing individual creativity and technical proficiency, ensuring that students excel in their musical journey. I am an expert in music theory and will enjoy sharing this with you!
