About your tutor

With over 15 years of teaching experience in different engineering colleges as an Assistant Professor and in international schools, I focus on building strong conceptual foundations in mathematics.I tailor each session with personalised learning .My teaching approach emphasizes understanding , aiming to boost students confidence so they can think independently and apply concepts with ease. I believe that practicing past paper questions, along with building clear concepts and teaching students how to think and approach problem-solving, helps them become independent learners. With just a bit of guidance, they can excel in their own way and reach their full potential. So far, I have seen excellent results with the above mentioned methodology.Even those who initially scored C or D grades in their mock exams have gone on to achieve A+ grades in their final IGCSE exams. With the right guidance, focused practice, and concept clarity, significant improvement is absolutely possible

GCSE prep overview

1.Concept-Centered Teaching Focus on building a strong foundation in core mathematical concepts rather than rote memorization. Use real-life examples, visual aids, and step-by-step explanations to deepen understanding. 2.Personalized Learning Approach Tailor each session to the student’s pace, strengths, and areas of improvement. This helps students stay engaged and feel supported in their unique learning journey. 3.Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills Teach students how to analyze a question, break it down, and develop an approach before solving it. This builds critical thinking and independent learning skills. 4.Past paper practice Regularly practice IGCSE past paper questions to familiarize students with exam patterns, enhance problem-solving speed, and reduce exam anxiety. Use mock results to identify weak areas for targeted revision.
