The Student and Tutor practiced connecting the seven modes of the major scale on the guitar, focusing on finger patterns, whole-step and half-step relationships, and hand positioning. They worked on exercises to improve dexterity, alternate picking, and modal sequencing. The Tutor will send diagrams to aid in memorization and understanding of the patterns, and the Student plans to continue practicing the techniques learned.
