About your piano teacher
Hey, so glad you are here! My name is Inna Gontsa , I have been teaching piano for over 30 years , for students any age, any style, any goal! Some students like to learn classical, pop, favorite tunes, or professional , I can help with any music style or genre. What I have been helping my students with , is helping them to start feeling comfortable on the instrument, and getting them to play first couple songs comfortably, and then introducing them to harder and more challenging songs and helping them along the way, so that the tools and lessons I teach can get the freedom to help students understand the steps to get there! You can do anything , that you can find 15 min in your day to practice it, any music! I believe anyone can learn to play music or sing, if they practice 15-20 min. You can do it! My teaching approach blends progressive instructions, expressive musicality, sight reading, ear training and theory. I focus on technique to get you where you want to be. As a classical, pop, and any genre music, I focus on helping students hear, read and play music on the instrument and understand musical notation and language. With a curriculum that helps you go from one level to the next , in level 1-7, you can play wide variety of music , from even passing first level. Once you are on level 2-7, the access of which you can do, is very wide variety of music. Also, theory, technic, ear training , and finger patterns on the keys help to be very effective in playing and understanding musical language while playing.
