With over 20 years of teaching experience, a career as a signed recording artist, currently singing lead in one of Vancouver’s hottest cover bands “Joyride” and a proven track record in the music industry (over 10 songs on the radio, compositions recorded by other artists, and placements in films like Sweet Mountain Christmas) I bring an unmatched depth of expertise to every lesson. I've studied under the same vocal coaches as Michael Bublé and Tim McGraw, refining techniques that have shaped some of the world's top voices. Each student and lesson are different. We'll work together to discover your goals and strengths. Whether it's musical theatre, rock, pop, country, R&B, Disney, or whatever you're into, the basis of singing should be FUN. Singing lessons shouldn't be painful. Almost every teacher forces students to run scales - and there's something to that - training our voices requires dedicated practice to strengthen our pitch, tone, and breath control. Repetition breeds confidence - but it also kills passion. We'll work on your voice in a way that feeds your passion and gets you excited to be better. From our very first lesson you'll get the vocal exercises that I use every day - FOR FREE! Whether you come back for another lesson or not, you'll have the tools you need to become a great singer - all from the comfort of your daily drive to work ;) Over time we'll figure out how far you can go and develop a voice ready for the stage and the recording studio.
