My teaching approach is student-centered, adaptable, and rooted in a deep understanding of piano pedagogy. I aim to nurture well-rounded musicians by balancing technical development, musical expression, and theoretical knowledge. Every lesson is tailored to meet the individual needs, goals, and learning styles of each student. I incorporate elements from traditional classical training as well as creative and holistic methods, including the Dalcroze approach, which uses movement and improvisation to internalize rhythm and musical concepts. This helps students of all ages engage with music in a deeper, more embodied way. I emphasize: Healthy Technique: Building a strong technical foundation to support injury-free playing and expressive performance. Musical Interpretation: Encouraging students to develop their own artistic voice through phrasing, dynamics, and stylistic awareness. Theory & Aural Skills: Strengthening understanding of music through ear training, sight-reading, and harmony. Personalized Learning: Adapting lesson content and pacing to match the student’s individual interests, background, and motivation. Performance Skills: Building confidence and stage presence through regular performance opportunities, whether informal or formal. My goal is to inspire a lifelong love of music, whether students pursue piano recreationally or professionally.
