Singing lessons overview

My teaching style is expressive, focusing on musicality, engaging students in interactive lessons to improve pitch and build confidence by creating slideshows and warm-ups. I always tell my students, you can learn every information about music but if you do not have the emotion, character, or passion you will never reach your fullest potential. I specialize in personalized tutoring for Broadway, Jazz, Folk, Pop, and classical singing. I use a variety of tools, including video platforms, audio editing software, and online music sheets to enhance each lesson. My teaching methods are a combination of Kodaly Methods and Dalcroze methods. I use Kodaly methods by emphasizing a sequential, singing based approach to music literacy, fostering a child's natural musical ability and sense of rhythm through singing and movement. I incorporate Dalcroze methods in my lessons by creating an environment where we experience musical elements through movement. I cater to a small audience of less than 10 students, teaching voice for beginners, kids, intermediates, and advance learners. My approach strengthens students' vocal skills, boosts creativity, and ensures steady progress in mastering various singing elements.

Singing concept taught by Zackery

Lesson date:

Zackerys Nash led AJ Kerley in a singing lesson focused on understanding and applying harmony to the song "Way Maker." They covered solfège, ear training with major intervals, and music reading to construct harmonies. Despite audio issues, they practiced harmonizing sections of the song, and AJ expressed interest in continuing lessons to improve his harmony skills for his church choir.

Zackery in Friant Area helped me overcome stage fright. His warm-up drills and visualization exercises made a huge difference. I recently sang solo for the first time and actually enjoyed it.

What started as fun warm-ups clapping, echo songs, and simple harmonies quickly turned into real progress. My daughter’s confidence grew, and now he’s proudly part of his school’s advanced chorus, all beacuse of the singing lessons by Zackery at pleasent Valley.

In order to get better at open mic nights, I signed up for Zackery beginning singing lessons after moving to Hunts Point. I feel confident enough to complete a set now because of his methodical instruction and technique-focused exercises.
