I’ve been playing piano since I was three, and over the past 17 years, it’s become not just a skill but a core part of who I am. I’ve trained in classical repertoire, performed professionally in venues like Carnegie Hall and Cobb Energy Centre, and arranged pieces that blend classical and contemporary styles. As a teacher, I help students connect emotionally with the music, build strong technique, and develop the confidence to perform. Whether it’s their first lesson or they’re preparing for an advanced recital, I tailor each session to meet their goals and learning style. In addition to music, I’ve tutored students in math, reading, and test prep for nearly five years—many of whom come from underserved backgrounds or face learning challenges like ADHD. I know what it’s like to struggle and turn things around, and I bring that empathy and strategy to every academic session. My goal is to make sure students feel seen, supported, and capable—whether we’re solving equations or learning Chopin.

I tailor lessons to each student’s goals—whether preparing for ABRSM exams or returning to piano after years away. In academics, I focus on building foundational understanding through visuals, analogies, and step-by-step problem solving. I’ve worked with students who have ADHD, autism, and anxiety, and I adapt pacing, language, and focus strategies to match their learning needs. Whether we’re tackling equations or exploring reading comprehension, I emphasize clarity, positive reinforcement, and helping students feel in control of their own progress.
