I am Padraig Lane, your go-to singing tutor for personalised lessons. I specialise in a wide range of subjects including Rock, Pop, Blues, Folk, and Country singing. My expertise lies in areas such as Songwriting, Harmony, Improvisation, Music Theory, and Vocal Training. I have recently graduated with my MA in Music Performance and previously obtained my Level 5 and 6 diploma in Music Management & Sound and my BA in Popular Music with specialties in Songwriting, Beginners Music Theory, Vocal lessons, and Guitar. As a songwriter, I have recorded and released 4 albums, having co-written on more than 20 releases for other artists, both commercially and for TV/advertisements. I have garnered over 7 years of experience tutoring students from the ages of 6-60. I am based in the US, and am excited to work with you on your own specific goals in music!

My approach to lessons is aimed to facilitate student led learning. Through each lesson, I emphasise student engagement through witnessing their individual abilities and to also motivate a student to set their own goals. I place value on students having an understanding of music theory to further students abilities for their chosen field, Whether it be learning to read sheet music for a country song, writing a punk song on electric guitar or anything in between, each lesson will be tailored to the aspirations and goals of the individual student to promote active and enthusiastic learning development. Having taught over 50 students in various lessons including voice, piano, guitar, music theory, song writing and music production, I have received glowing reports from my students as they continue to reach and surpass their own goals!
