I’m Rachel Goldstein. I’m a well educated and passionate singer and musician with a bachelor’s degree in music. While a new tutor, I bring a fresh upbeat and friendly environment to my students. I’m specialized in ear training, harmony, improvisation and more. I’d love to teach you your favorite song from any genre. I offer lessons in solfège singing and many more. As this industry changes, so do all us. I’m open for feedback from you and your so I can improve how I can teach you. I’m also specialized in theory so I can sing with you in harmony. My teaching approach is about care, respect, flexibility, and individuality. I love being to engage students with me and see their confidence build up. I can start with the simple warmup exercises and techniques. I will then shift to song that they want to learn or need help with. In the last few minutes of the lesson, I like to finish with something they love. I encourage all kinds of questions and feedback so I as a tutor and teacher can become someone better for students to rely on. My audience has been 1-on-1 but I’m open to group sessions. I can create curriculums that can help students in not only in their singing abilities but also gain new experiences for them to apply outside of lessons with me. Group work I offer is harmonization, improv, I can cover it all.
