Noa - Get to know your vocal coach

Alongside songwriting and performing, a passion of mine is teaching. I’ve been a substitute music teacher at a private music lessons company in Lafayette, LA (The Music Box) for a couple years, and have given voice lessons to kids, teens and young adults. My goal when approaching each lesson is to help my students find their individual strengths and instill confidence in them. I believe every voice is different and special in its own way, and I treat them as such. I do so by teaching from a wholistic perspective, focusing on vocal health and various breathing techniques. The first couple sessions will be introductions. I’ll take that time to get to know my student and learn who they are as an artist. Doing so will ensure each lesson is personalized and engaging. Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate, or advanced, I’m so happy to have you here. Let’s sing!

Singing lessons highlights

I specialize in vocal health, music performance, and confidence-building lessons tailored to pop, classical, and folk singers, though any and all singers are welcomed! I approach each lesson from a wholistic perspective, focusing on the placement of which each student is singing. For instance: singing from your core rather than your throat is essential when it comes to sustaining vocal health. My goal is to help students strengthen their cores through various warm ups and breathing techniques, and to teach them the practices necessary for keeping their voices healthy in strong. In addition to vocal health, I focus on motivating students to find their strengths and to lean into them. I believe every singer’s voice is special and has something unique about it, and I’m dedicated to helping my students unlock their full vocal potential.
