Singing lessons overview
My teaching approach is centered on building a strong technical foundation while keeping lessons engaging, inspiring, and tailored to each student's personal journey. I use clear explanations, step-by-step demonstrations, and simple exercises to help students master vocal techniques such as breath control, tone, diction, and projection. I adapt to each student's learning style, offering encouragement, constructive feedback, and targeted exercises they can practice independently. I also incorporate music interpretation, ear training, stage presence, and performance techniques to help develop confident, expressive singers. My goal is to create a positive space where students feel empowered, supported, and motivated to grow at their own pace while developing a lifelong love for music. "Simply Sing" is my motto and the name of my choir. I am excited to make music with you and support your vocal journey. Warmly, Trésor Otshudi.

Singing concept taught by Tresor
In this online singing lesson, Tresor coached Ricky on fundamental vocal techniques, including breath control, resonance, and developing a positive mindset for singing. Ricky practiced applying these techniques to "Fly Me to the Moon" and received a list of easy baritone pop songs to practice. Tresor advised Ricky to focus on mastering breath control as a foundation and to use the "sandwich method" to improve specific elements of his singing each week.

In a vocal coaching session, Tresor guided Ricky through breathing and vocal exercises, focusing on vowel pronunciation and proper mouth shaping to improve his singing technique for 'Can't Help Falling in Love.' Tresor emphasized relaxing the throat and using the mouth as a resonator to shape sounds. Ricky was advised to practice yawning to understand the relaxed position needed for singing and to adjust his approach by focusing on mouth movements rather than throat muscles.
