About your guitar teacher
Take Your Playing to the Next Level — Guitar Lessons for Serious Students Hey there — I’m a guitarist with over 20 years of experience and a deep passion for helping advanced players grow, explore, and evolve. If you’ve been playing for a while, love the guitar, and want to push past your current limits, I’d love to work with you. What I Offer My lessons are for advanced players who want a teacher that gets it — someone who respects your experience, challenges you, and helps you get where you want to go, without wasting time or energy. I cover all styles — from blues, rock, jazz, and funk to classical, metal, flamenco, and fingerstyle. My teaching isn’t boxed into any one genre because I believe a great guitarist should be able to speak multiple musical languages. Whether you want to sharpen your chops in your favorite style or branch out into something completely new, I’ve got you. My Teaching Style I’d describe my approach as relaxed but strict — a good balance of friendly and focused. I’m not going to bark orders or stress you out, but I will hold you accountable, give you structure, and expect you to put in the work. That’s how real growth happens. What We Can Work On Here are just a few areas we can focus on, depending on what you need: Advanced technique (alternate picking, sweep picking, hybrid picking, fingerstyle, etc.) Music theory that actually makes sense and connects to your playing Improvisation, phrasing, and how to say more with fewer notes Why Learn With Me? I know what it’s like to hit plateaus. I’ve been through the ups and downs that come with learning an instrument deeply. And I know how valuable it is to have someone in your corner — someone who knows the road ahead and can help you avoid the common traps. — DANIEL TENORIO

Guitar concept taught by Daniel
D Tenox taught Erskine Rogers about guitar chords and progressions. Erskine practiced E, D, and A major and minor chords, worked on a D minor, A minor, A major progression, and learned a strumming pattern. Erskine was assigned to practice the chord progression and strumming pattern and to acquire a guitar amplifier and cable before the next session.
