About your guitar teacher
Hey, I’m Michael! I’ve been teaching guitar for over 10 years now, and I’ve had the pleasure of helping more than 100 students find their voice through music. I studied at Berklee College of Music, earning my degree in General Music Studies with a focus on Music Production. Besides guitar, I’m a multi-instrumentalist who also plays bass, drums, saxophone, keys, and sings — so no matter what musical direction you want to explore, I can help you get there. I teach all kinds of genres — from classical and jazz to rock and metal — and I love mixing things up depending on what you want to learn. My lessons focus heavily on music theory, improvisation, technique, and songwriting because I believe that when you really understand music, you can play anything you want. Besides guitar, I’m back in school finishing my bachelor’s in Aviation. When I’m not teaching or flying, you’ll usually find me playing football, riding motorcycles, or out in the wild somewhere. If you’re ready to jam, write, shred, or just dive deep into music, I’m here to help make it happen!

Guitar lessons overview
Music should be powerful, personal, and fun. I teach guitar by blending solid technique, real-world theory, improvisation, and songwriting into every lesson. Students dive into styles from classical and jazz to rock, blues, funk, and metal — learning not just to play songs, but to create, improvise, and perform with confidence. I focus on building strong foundations while encouraging creativity and individuality in every student. With my experience as a multi-instrumentalist, I bring a broader musical perspective that connects each lesson to the bigger picture of musicianship. My mission is simple: to help students jam, write, perform, and find their own voice while developing real-world skills that last a lifetime.
