During a recent vocal lesson, Mirriam guided Genesis through vocal exercises and techniques in preparation for an upcoming church performance. Their focus was on register transitions, particularly accessing and sustaining high notes in songs like "Above All," and they also began exploring a new song in Spanish. Mirriam provided Genesis with specific warm-ups and recommended the App Companist for practicing scales and arpeggios, and suggested listening to "Holy" by Stephanie Gretzinger as a reference for high notes.

Mirriam worked with Bo during a lesson focused on improving her singing and guitar strumming for a mashup of "Stay With Me" and "Skinny Love." The primary goal was to correct flat notes and ensure better synchronization between her strumming and vocals. Mirriam suggested Bo reach out to her guitar teacher for help with the "Skinny Love" portion's strumming and to continue practicing the techniques they discussed.
