Singing concept taught by Ani
Ani worked with a learner from Fresno on vocal techniques, focusing on expanding their vocal range, incorporating nasal resonance, and achieving a relaxed, tension-free sound. The individual practiced singing in a higher register and worked on exercises to improve airflow and vocal control. For homework, they are to practice sustaining notes using a relaxed talking voice and to learn Willie Nelson's "On the Road Again" in two different keys.

Ani Pianist and Regan St Clair recently dedicated their lesson to music theory, specifically reviewing major keys, sharps, and flats. Regan also engaged in vocal exercises, concentrating on breath control, resonance, and register. For her continued development, Regan was instructed to memorize the order of flats and keys and to practice the vocal techniques they discussed.

Ani guided Michael through vocal exercises aimed at improving his singing range and resonance. Michael dedicated his efforts during the lesson to humming and applying techniques to songs like 'Deposition Blues' and 'Little Red Rooster.' As a follow-up, Michael was tasked with practicing 'Deposition Blues' in a higher register and continuing his humming exercises.

Ani conducted a vocal lesson with a student from Riverside City College, focusing on vocal techniques. The lesson covered breath control, vocal exercises for high notes, and applying these techniques to Beyonce's song "Listen." The individual practiced breathing exercises and vocal scales to improve their range and projection. For homework, they will practice the chorus of "Listen," concentrating on projecting their voice and utilizing siren exercises to access higher notes.

Regan actively engaged in practicing techniques like the "yawn effect," pinging for high notes, and sustaining notes with varied dynamics.
