Hello, I'm Ezra, a lifelong music lover. I have been playing for 23 years, but I can still clearly remember what it felt like to pick up a new instrument for the first time, and how challenging and rewarding it was to pick out a tune. My father was a musician who constructed his own musical notation, and who taught me to think differently about learning how to play the guitar through accessible and clear techniques. If you're looking for an instructor with patience, sensitivity, and a sense of humor about learning to play, I'm your guy! Let's de-mystify the guitar and get you on the road to confidently expanding your musical knowledge.

Teaching methodology

I will work with you to create goals in your musical education, at whatever pace feels comfortable and compelling to you. I explain techniques and approaches in multiple ways, tailoring the experience to your learning and sensory needs. I am disability friendly, and will happily work with anybody hoping to deepen their understanding of playing the guitar, whether it's one song you're hoping to learn, a performance you're preparing for, or a garage band you'd like to start. Children and adults of all skill levels and ability welcome. I am especially happy to open the musical world to anybody who is neurodivergent or requires accommodations.
