About your vocal coach
I'm Angela McIntosh, a holder of two music Certificates and a passion for singing. With years of experience honing my skills in singing, I offer personalized lessons in pop, rock, and musical theatre singing for kids and adults, beginner or intermediate. My specialties include pitch correction, harmony, music theory, and breathwork. Whether you're an artist, looking for fun, or just love music, you're in the right place! I'm here to help you achieve your goals. I can also accompany singers on guitar, piano, or with karaoke tracks. Finally, I am a songwriter and a self-proclaimed theatre kid, so if you want to work on your voice for any original songs or practice a musical audition piece, we can do that! You will improve your confidence, learn performance skills and hear your voice develop over time to match. Thank you, and I look forward to working with you :)

Singing lessons overview
I offer personalized tutoring in singing, mainly focused on genres such as pop, folk, rock, and musical theatre. My patient and engaging teaching style emphasizes pitch perfection, confidence, and power. I am a strong believer in relaxation exercises, breathing techniques, and full-body warmups as essential foundations for singing. I create interactive lessons for kids, beginners, intermediates, and adults. I work on tailoring each lesson to the individual strengths and weaknesses of each student in order to optimize our time together. With tools such as detailed note-taking, recorded lessons, and practice plans, students can take their knowledge outside of the classroom and improve even more on their own time. I believe in the power of patience and positive affirmation, as well as gentle correction. Students deserve to feel safe and confident in their skills while still learning to work through their weaker points.
