Practical Math lessons from elementary to high school with problem solving

Hi, I am Leah Larkin. I am a High School Math teacher. I have acquired a Ph.D. in Mathematics, I can confidently teach basic and advanced math. I specialize in teaching students from Grade 4 to Grade 8. I have 7+ years of experience in helping and guiding students. I am a math enthusiast. I have participated in various math olympiads and have also won medals in it. Outside of teaching, Im a fitness enthusiast and photographer.

Before starting my session, I get familiar with the latest tools and technologies for teaching. I make sure that during sessions my network is top-notch and that the lighting is fine. I start by getting to know the needs of the students. I plan my sessions accordingly. My approach combines structured lesson plans with dynamic and interactive teaching methods, adapting to diverse learning styles to ensure every student grasps the material effectively. I explain one concept at a time and then make them practice questions based on that concept. I regularly assess students through questionnaires, quizzess, assignments, etc.
