Games concept taught by Vrushti
Shah and Romeo practiced chess captures and identifying hanging pieces. Romeo worked on identifying all possible captures for both white and black in different scenarios and then moved on to puzzles focused on recognizing undefended pieces. Shah emphasized the importance of regular practice to solidify these concepts.

During their recent chess lesson, Vrushti tutored Jonathan, focusing on the Scholar's Mate, piece development, and adapting to opponent's moves. Jonathan then applied these concepts in a game on lichess.org, where Vrushti provided guidance on strategic decisions, including threat recognition and executing discovered attacks, which resulted in a win.

Vrushti Shah provided Joshua Jose with a comprehensive chess lesson. Their time together focused on king and pawn endgames, where they explored key concepts such as opposition, flanking, and the rule of the square. The lesson also delved into the Caro-Kann opening and a particular trap that culminates in a smothered mate. For continued practice in chess, Vrushti advised Joshua to utilize Lichess for endgames, puzzles, and general gameplay, specifically recommending he play against computer level three.

In their recent lesson, Vrushti taught Jonathan the chess tactic known as a 'fork.' She used various puzzles to help him grasp the concept before guiding him through a game against the computer. The instruction highlighted the importance of identifying potential forks, developing pieces effectively, and planning moves ahead. Jonathan, however, encountered difficulties with visualizing moves and understanding piece values during their time together.
