Interactive Biology tutor with hands-on, concept-focused methods

I am a GCSE Biology tutor who specialises in teaching college students. My teaching style is interactive, hands-on, and practical. I believe in providing a structured and systematic approach to learning, making sure to engage students and focus on key concepts in detail. I create customized learning paths to build foundational skills and utilize tailored revision techniques to prepare students for success. My scheme of work involves: 1) Explaining the Learning Objectives and a way to achieve those. 2) Assessing the students prior knowledge on the subject matter. 3)A detailed explanation of the concept aided by diagrams and presentations. 4)To keep the students engaged and the class environment interactive i keep asking questions and encourage the students to do the same. 4)Dictating comprehensive notes. 5)Practicing past paper questions and Marking schemes related to every topic. 6)End of the chapter Test/Quiz to judge the learning outcomes. I believe in regular testing as i feel thats the only way to keep my teaching in pace with the students learning and understanding. By assessing students' understanding of GCSE subjects, I am able to create a personalized learning plan with key milestones to help them achieve their academic goals.
