I'm Tomás Insaurralde, a seasoned guitar tutor with over 7 years of experience. My journey with music began long ago, shaping my belief that music is best enjoyed when shared within a community. I honed my skills under the guidance of esteemed mentors and even pursued the Advanced Guitar Performance program at La Colmena in Argentina. Having been part of successful music projects as a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter, I now pour my expertise into teaching. At Garage, where I'm a co-director, we've crafted a unique teaching method centered around songs and group rehearsals, now seamlessly adapted for online learning without compromising the warmth of in-person lessons. The Student reviewed the solo of Iron Man and began learning the intro, interlude, verse, and pre-chorus of Enter Sandman. The Student received guidance on finger placements, strumming patterns, and techniques like palm muting. For homework, the Student will record a video of themselves playing Iron Man with a backing track, focusing on playing through mistakes and maintaining continuity.
