Interactive Math tutor with problem-solving and detailed lessons

Hello there! I'm Gavin Taylor the Sunderland MathsFix, a Mathematics tutor with a 1st Class Honours Master's degree in Natural Sciences(77%), specializing in Mathematics(80%) and Physics(73%). During my GCSEs, I achieved 1 A* with Distinction, 10A*s and 5As at GCSE, achieving 295/300 for Maths and 174/175 for Further Maths achieving an A* with Distinction, a grade higher than an A*. During my A Levels, I achieved 3A*s and 1A in A Level Mathematics(598/600), Further Mathematics(587/600), Further Mathematics(Additional)(526/600) and Physics(551/600). During college, I became so fascinated by Mathematics that I decided to self-study A Level Further Mathematics(Additional), which allowed me to study all the modules offered and enlightened me to the applications of mathematics to physics. My teaching philosophy revolves around making math enjoyable and accessible to all students, regardless of their proficiency level. I believe in creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I specialize in teaching a wide range of math subjects, including Elementary School Math, GCSE Maths, Probability, Trigonometry, Algebra, Math, and Calculus. My goal is to help students not only understand the concepts but also see the real-world applications of math in various fields. To keep students engaged, I use a mix of traditional teaching methods and interactive activities to cater to different learning styles. I believe in personalized learning, where I tailor my approach to meet each student's unique needs and pace of learning.
