I hold a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies, where I studied Steiner, Froebel, Montessori, and Reggio Emilia. I believe each approach offers valuable benefits and can support children in different and meaningful ways. I have extensive experience helping children prepare for the 7+, 8+, 11+, SATs (KS2), and ISEB Common Entrance exams, and have supported students in gaining places at schools such as the Royal Grammar School, Queen’s College, and St Paul’s Prep. I also specialise in 11+ interview preparation, helping students express themselves clearly, confidently, and naturally in formal settings. I teach core subjects for children aged 3–11 (early years and primary level), and also support students at KS3 and GCSE level, particularly in English and Functional Skills Level 2 English. I help learners develop strong skills in reading comprehension, creative and analytical writing, essay structure, and exam techniques, always tailoring lessons to each individual’s learning style. I have a particular interest in supporting children with dyslexia and autism, using creative, student-led approaches to build confidence, overcome challenges, and help children recognise what they are capable of achieving. Alongside my degree, I also hold a TEFL certificate, which strengthens my teaching background.
