Hey everyone! I'm Shwetank Chandra, and I'll be taking you through Electronics and Communication Engineering. Before we dive into the syllabus, I want to give you a quick sense of how we’re going to approach this subject together. I actually just graduated in 2025, so I can still remember the struggles, the late-night debugging, and just the confusion of seeing a complex circuit for the first time quite vividly. I know just what it feels like to be sitting where you are now looking at a whiteboard full of signals and systems. That is the reason my method of teaching is quite simple. We take things one step at a time. If you see a concept and think to yourself, “I have no idea what’s going on here,” don’t worry. We are going to start from the basics. I’m not here to just speed through slides and talk down to you. I like to keep it simple and doable. If we have to break down a subject three ways to Sunday until it clicks, then that is what we will do. We're definitely going to use presentations to get the core concepts down, but I'm a massive believer in hands-on, real-world application. I did loads of different projects while I was doing my degree. I learned much more from actually building things, figuring out why a circuit wasn’t behaving, or how to integrate different components than I ever did just reading a textbook. “I want this to be a collaborative space. I’m here to help you work out the kinks and get you comfortable with the tech.” Let’s build some really cool stuff together, one step at a time. Looking forward to working with all of you!
