Math Mavens: Mastering NAPLAN, SAT, and Beyond with Style!

I have loved mathematics and helping others understand it for many years. I obtained a bachelor's and master's degree in mathematics and have tutored many students throughout the years, not only in math but also physics, English as a Foreign Language, and music. A kind, patient, profound, and inspiring help is one that I always strive to deliver.

My approaches to a given session can change, depending on the subject and needs of the student, but in general, some characteristics always hold. I like to see what the student already knows about a given topic so as to help build upon that, help connect the dots, and allow the student to help lay out the best path forward. Once this is clear, I will attempt to use any previous student knowledge and a variety of alternative methods for explaining a topic at hand, all while monitoring understanding and encouraging to be an active part of the exploration. An ideal session will end with a student who understood the topic but enjoyed the experience along the way.
