About your data science tutor
Hi, I am Nikita Dadlani. I have around 10.5 years of experience of teaching online. I teach almost all concepts from statistics and data science. Along with that I know and teach the statistical analysis and programming tools like R, Excel, Python, JASP, Tableau. I have also solved many assignments, helped in case studies, reports, projects etc. I love to teach. I prefer teaching in detail and by clearing the basic concepts of student. Interactive sessions go best with my teacher. I like to crack the logic behind any concept and I teach with the same logic to students. I use pen tab also to teach and to explain the concepts clearly. In my teaching I like to discuss the concept from scratch even in advance concepts, it's good to discuss the previous basics for at least important pointers and I prefer that. My teaching method includes examples and references from real scenarios to get connected to what we are learning. At the end it's students' choice and comfort of how they need teaching and I would like to be flexible about it and teach accordingly. I try to strengthen the knowledge of student and make them feel confident about what they learnt. I make sure that student understood the concept by asking small questions and I welcome the questions and feedback. Thanks!

Data Science concepts taught by Nikita
The Student and Tutor worked on refining an Excel workbook designed for tracking real estate commissions. They focused on updating and verifying commission data, refreshing pivot tables and charts to reflect the changes, and adjusting page breaks to optimize the print layout. The next session will involve integrating new commission data once it becomes available.
Excel Data Entry & Formula Management
Dynamic Data Visualization: Refreshing Pivot Tables and Charts
Optimizing Print Layouts with Page Breaks
Data Verification & Reconciliation with External Sources
The student and tutor worked on automating Excel formulas for commission tracking. They focused on updating `SUMIF` functions and cell ranges within Excel tables to ensure dynamic calculations for agent commissions and total payouts, with plans to verify accuracy once brokerage data is received.
Formula Automation in Spreadsheets
Data Validation and Accuracy Checks
Understanding Collapsed Deals in Sales Tracking
Spreadsheet Table Designations and Row Numbering
The student and tutor focused on implementing and troubleshooting Excel formulas to automate deal counts and total commission calculations across multiple tables. They practiced applying dynamic formulas, correcting syntax errors, and understanding the difference between automated and manual data entry for financial reporting.
Automating Table Calculations
Manual vs. Automated Data Entry
Dynamic Formula Referencing
Handling Column Name Inconsistencies in Formulas
The student and tutor worked through issues with Excel spreadsheet automation related to commission tracking. They identified and discussed solutions for manual data entry and formula range adjustments to ensure accurate, automated updates for commission figures and associated charts. The next session was scheduled for the following evening.
Formula Automation and Range Expansion
Manual Data Entry vs. Automated Updates
Data Visualization Accuracy and Source Data
Handling Non-Standard Deals in Calculations
The student and tutor worked extensively with Excel tables, focusing on data entry, formatting, and formula automation. They practiced adding rows, managing page breaks, and troubleshooting issues with sum and count formulas not updating automatically, with plans to continue exploring automation strategies in the next session.
Page Break Preview and Management
Automatic Formatting and Number Handling in Tables
Circular References in Excel Formulas
Table Naming and Formula Referencing
Excel Tables: Insertion and Manipulation
The Student and Tutor worked on refining Excel spreadsheets, focusing on chart data manipulation, formatting, and optimizing print layout. They practiced adjusting chart elements, correcting formulas, managing empty rows, and implementing page breaks for better print preview presentation. The next session is scheduled for Sunday evening to continue these Excel skills.
