The Student and Tutor discussed the pieces selected for the upcoming Grade Two piano exam and reviewed new scales and sight-reading material. They worked on the G major scale hands together and sight-reading exercises with both hands playing simultaneously. The Student was assigned to listen to one of their chosen pieces and practice the G major scale hands together as homework, with a focus on improving clapping skills for the aural test.
