Master Architecture Basics – Build Strong Foundations in Design & Technical Skills

Hi, I'm Muskan Batra, a Bachelor of Architecture graduate with around three years of professional experience in the field, along with less than a year of teaching experience. While I may be relatively new to teaching, I am deeply committed to supporting students who are stepping into architecture or looking to strengthen their fundamentals. Having recently been through the same learning phase myself, I understand the kind of confusion, self-doubt, and gaps that students often face, especially when it comes to design thinking, software skills, and presentation. My approach to teaching is practical, patient, and honest. I focus on helping students actually understand concepts instead of just completing tasks. Whether it is working on AutoCAD, SketchUp, basic design principles, or portfolio development, I try to break things down into simple, manageable steps so that learning does not feel overwhelming. I also believe that every student learns differently, so I try to adapt my pace and method based on what works best for them rather than following a rigid structure. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel okay to ask questions, make mistakes, and improve gradually. More than just technical skills, I try to guide students in building clarity, confidence, and a more structured way of thinking, which is essential in architecture. My goal is not just to teach, but to genuinely support students in becoming more capable and independent in their work over time.
