Interactive French lessons with practical focus

Although I never saw myself in a teaching position, I realized that this path was layed out for me from a young age. I am a native french speaker but began learing English at the age of 12. I was transferred from an a French school system to an English one, by my parents, with little preperation. I taught myself by reading , watching movies and only consuming English media. I had a bit of help from an amazing English teacher who would often lend shakespear literature to help me really appreciate the language. I started offering tutoring sessions in high school for my peers- those particularly struggling with French. Learing a new language is no easy feat. Considering my background, these challenges are not new to me. French is a difficult language for many. But I believe my teaching methods really helped my peers engage with the language in a new way. They were no longer intimidated by it, but welcomed their mistakes with open arms and were able to learn so much. I hope to make a difference with those I interact with.
