Greetings! I'm Ntokozo Nxumalo, a passionate Mathematics tutor with a BSc. With extensive experience in tutoring students at various levels, including school, adult/professional, and college, my teaching philosophy revolves around making math concepts accessible and engaging for all learners. I possess just over 10 years experience in the teaching/tutoring of Math both in-person and online. I had and continue to have the privilege of tutoring hundreds of students worldwide, mostly Americans. I specialize in a wide range of subjects, including Elementary School Math, GCSE Math, GED Math, Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebra, and AP Calculus AB, among others. My approach focuses on breaking down complex ideas into simpler, digestible chunks, fostering a deeper understanding and love for the subject. As an experienced Math tutor, I specialize in Elementary to College level math including Geometry, Trigonometry, Algebra, and more. My teaching style is interactive, engaging, and concept-focused. I begin by assessing the student's current skills and targeting specific areas for improvement. Using 3D models and personalized problem sets, I help students visualize and strengthen their understanding of mathematical concepts. My classes are detailed, focusing on problem-solving to clarify doubts and build a strong foundation for success. Brief online tutoring experience: In 2017 I entered the E-Learning field as an Online Math tutor to US based tutoring companies. Over the years I had an opportunity to tutor hundreds of students worldwide, mostly American. An example is MathElf, which has since shut down operations in August 2018. Students could access the app on an iPad/iPhone at any time and instantly connect with me. From January 2021 to May 2024, I assisted scores of students enrolled in an online school with their studies through the Train The Brain platform which has since been closed to be replaced by AI. I enjoy to be connected with students from all over the world as I can easily adapt to all personalities.
