NITHIN - Know your tutor
I have completed my bachelor of technology in mechanical engineering from A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technological University and Master of technology in biomedical science and engineering with specialization in medical devices and diagnostics from IIT Guwahati.I have been in teaching field from 2015 and blessed with my students from all over the world.I have done a project in analysis of resistance spot welding from NIT Trichy and published two research papers based on that. I have worked in human body implant project in IIT Guwahati. For that project Ansys,Fusion360 and other tools have been used. I have a background in data analysis, machine learning ,Data structures and algorithm and python coding.

Mathematics concepts taught by NITHIN
The student and tutor reviewed and practiced solving differential equations using separation of variables and finding particular solutions with initial conditions. They also worked through numerous differentiation problems, applying various rules such as the chain rule, product rule, and quotient rule to different function types, including exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions.
Logarithm Properties in Differentiation
Chain Rule for Differentiation
Tangent Line Approximation
Separation of Variables
Slope Fields
The tutor and student reviewed calculus concepts related to finding areas of regions, volumes of solids of revolution using both disk/washer methods, and solving differential equations. They worked through several practice problems involving various functions and axes of revolution, and also touched upon finding intersection points for more complex functions.
Differential Equations: Separation of Variables
Area Between Curves
Volume of Solids of Revolution (Disk Method - Cylindrical Shells)
Volume of Solids of Revolution (Washer Method)
Area Under a Curve using Integration
The Tutor and Student reviewed differentiation and integration concepts in calculus. They covered various differentiation rules, including the product, quotient, and chain rules, and practiced applying them through examples, with a plan to continue practicing problems.
The Chain Rule: Derivatives of Composite Functions
Combining Derivatives: Sum
Product
and Quotient Rules
Fundamental Derivative Rules
Integration: The Art of Summation
Differentiation: The Essence
The tutor and student worked through various differential equation problems, focusing on techniques like separation of variables, integration, and solving for the general solution. They practiced setting up equations from word problems and applying substitution methods. The student identified a need to focus more on setting up initial differential equations from verbal descriptions.
Separation of Variables for Differential Equations
Integrating Reciprocal Functions (1/u)
Substitution Method for Integration
Interpreting Proportionality in Differential Equations
The session covered projectile motion, circular motion, and relative motion. The Student solved problems related to projectile trajectory, centripetal acceleration, and observed velocities from different reference frames. Galilean transformation was introduced, with plans to delve deeper into the concept in the next session.
Relative Motion and Reference Frames
Velocity in Different Reference Frames
Minimum Speed During Projectile Flight
Centripetal Acceleration and Magnitude of Position Vector
Time of Flight Calculation
Range of a Projectile
Projectile Motion Decomposition
The student and tutor covered discrete random variables, inclusive/exclusive inequalities, and calculating mean, variance, and standard deviation. They worked through examples to practice these concepts and started discussing binomial distribution. The student was assigned practice problems related to discrete variables.
