I am Mariami Janiashvili, a professional titled chess player (WFM) with over a decade of experience in both competitive play and teaching. I am a 7-time Tbilisi Champion, Georgian G18 Champion, and was a proud member of the Georgian Olympic Team at the 2018 Batumi Chess Olympiad. My passion for chess has taken me across the globe, where I’ve won numerous international tournaments. Beyond my own achievements, I am deeply committed to teaching. I work on platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, Lichess, and Chess.com, where I guide students of all levels. I’m proud to have helped one of my students become the North American Champion in the Under-10 Girls category. I also manage school chess lessons and work as a social media manager and support specialist for Chess Armory. My teaching style is not only focused on improving chess skills but also on making the lessons fun and engaging. I believe learning chess should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience. I am friendly, approachable, and I strive to create a positive environment where my students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. Fluent in Georgian, Russian, and English, I love combining my passion for chess with technology, offering lessons that are interactive, exciting, and tailored to each student’s needs.
