During their recent piano lesson, Megan guided Ross through a review of chord inversions, dynamics, eighth notes, and sight-reading. They then embarked on learning "Standing in the Need of Prayer," with a particular emphasis on right and left hand coordination and understanding D.C. al Fine. For his practice, Ross was tasked with Hannon exercises, focusing on the ascending motion separately with each hand. Gemini notes are slated to be sent to both the tutor and Ross.

During a recent vocal lesson, the coach and a learner from Downtown Greensboro worked on vocal warm-up exercises, including humming, singing nursery rhymes, and practicing pitch accuracy with numerical sequences. The learner practiced exercises such as 'Super Duper Double Bubble Gum,' 'Mary Had a Little Lamb,' and new exercises like 'Gum' and 'B.' The coach recommended vocal rest and steam inhalation to help with the learner's sore throat, and they discussed potentially increasing the frequency of lessons to twice a week.
