Class overview
Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine advanced techniques, I adapt the pace and content to maximize your learning experience. 🧭 Personalized Learning Path Begin with a short assessment to understand your current level, learning objectives, and preferred workflow. Tailor the sessions to align with your academic needs, professional projects, or software certification goals. 💻 Live, Interactive Sessions Use screen sharing and real-time modeling to guide you step-by-step. Encourage active participation—students build along with me to reinforce learning. Sessions are recorded (optional) so you can revisit complex concepts at your own pace. 🧱 Project-Based Learning Work on complete mini-projects (e.g., residential units, commercial interiors, fit-outs). Apply concepts in real-world contexts—layouts, modeling, annotations, and construction documents. ⚙️ Tool Mastery & Best Practices Teach clean model practices, template setup, file linking, and parametric family creation. Share industry workflows used in firms, including worksets, phasing, and collaboration strategies. 🧩 Flexible & Adaptive Sessions are scheduled based on your availability. I adjust depth and content based on progress—spending more time on areas where you need support. 📈 Progress Reviews & Support Periodic reviews to track your growth and confidence. Provide exercises, cheat sheets, and follow-up support between sessions via email or shared drive.

The Student practiced enhancing a bedroom model in Revit by adding wall art, paneling, and adjusting visual settings for a realistic rendering. The session covered creating section views, inserting families, manipulating objects, and composing a sheet with a 3D view. The student plans to render the project using Enscape at school and will continue working on the design next session.

The student and tutor worked on annotating a furniture plan in Revit, focusing on tagging furniture consistently between the plan and the legend. They also addressed visual display issues, such as changing the material of a bookshelf and adding a background image to a 3D view. The session concluded with plans to continue working on the project tomorrow.

The student and tutor revised a Revit floor plan based on professor feedback, adjusting the reception area and classroom sizes. They used various Revit tools like split element, trim, and room separators to refine the design. The student will continue documenting the project and applying dimensioning techniques in future sessions.

The Student and Tutor collaborated on refining a Revit floor plan, focusing on layout optimization, space allocation, and incorporating different floor finishes. The Student learned to create elevations and gained insights into the functional aspects of building design. The Student will present the updated floor plan and elevations to their professor, and further detailing will follow upon approval.

The Student and Tutor reviewed architectural design principles and techniques in Revit, focusing on revisions for a poster presentation. The Student received guidance on accurately representing sections, elevations, and construction details, considering the lecturer's feedback. The session concluded with a discussion about rendering techniques to enhance the poster's visual impact and clarify design intent, and action items to complete the poster submission.
