Class overview
Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine advanced techniques, I adapt the pace and content to maximize your learning experience. 🧭 Personalized Learning Path Begin with a short assessment to understand your current level, learning objectives, and preferred workflow. Tailor the sessions to align with your academic needs, professional projects, or software certification goals. 💻 Live, Interactive Sessions Use screen sharing and real-time modeling to guide you step-by-step. Encourage active participation—students build along with me to reinforce learning. Sessions are recorded (optional) so you can revisit complex concepts at your own pace. 🧱 Project-Based Learning Work on complete mini-projects (e.g., residential units, commercial interiors, fit-outs). Apply concepts in real-world contexts—layouts, modeling, annotations, and construction documents. ⚙️ Tool Mastery & Best Practices Teach clean model practices, template setup, file linking, and parametric family creation. Share industry workflows used in firms, including worksets, phasing, and collaboration strategies. 🧩 Flexible & Adaptive Sessions are scheduled based on your availability. I adjust depth and content based on progress—spending more time on areas where you need support. 📈 Progress Reviews & Support Periodic reviews to track your growth and confidence. Provide exercises, cheat sheets, and follow-up support between sessions via email or shared drive.

Architecture concepts taught by bhavleen
The tutor and student worked on advanced Revit modeling techniques, focusing on the creation and management of construction phases, view filters, and the precise creation and editing of floors. They also practiced using modification tools like trim, align, and move, and corrected wall heights based on floor thickness. The next session is planned for Tuesday to continue practice.
Revit Phasing
Duplicate Views for Phasing
Revit Modify Tools: Trim & Extend
Wall Height Adjustment with Top Offset
Hiding and Revealing Elements (HH & HR)
The tutor and student worked on creating and customizing casework elements within Revit to integrate appliances like a microwave and oven. They practiced using the 'Model in Place' feature to build custom casework and adjusted family parameters for drawers and cabinets. The next session is planned for Thursday to address the remaining cabinet adjustments.
Model In-Place - Creating Custom Casework
Understanding and Modifying Family Parameters
Aligning and Adjusting Model Elements
Loading and Placing Standard Revit Families
The session involved practical instruction in Revit for architectural modeling. The student practiced creating and managing building levels, constructing a complex staircase with a landing, and resolving wall overlap issues. The tutor also explained the concept of underlay for referencing lower levels and the process of copying elements between floors.

Revit Staircase Creation and Customization
Understanding Revit's Floor vs. Ceiling Elements
Using Underlay and Sections for Design Clarity
Managing Wall Overlaps and Joins
The Student and Tutor worked on basic Revit skills, including fixing the interface, editing roofs, adding grids for structural coordination, creating floors and walls, and inserting doors and columns. The Student practiced using modify commands like align, copy, and offset. As homework, the Student was assigned to find a small residence plan and try to replicate it in Revit.

The session involved the Student refining a kitchen design in Revit, focusing on space planning and aesthetic integration. The Student practiced using Revit tools to place countertops, insert appliances, and align elements, while working through design challenges. The plan is for the Student to finalize the floor plan for the next session.
