Class overview
Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine advanced techniques, I adapt the pace and content to maximize your learning experience. 🧭 Personalized Learning Path Begin with a short assessment to understand your current level, learning objectives, and preferred workflow. Tailor the sessions to align with your academic needs, professional projects, or software certification goals. 💻 Live, Interactive Sessions Use screen sharing and real-time modeling to guide you step-by-step. Encourage active participation—students build along with me to reinforce learning. Sessions are recorded (optional) so you can revisit complex concepts at your own pace. 🧱 Project-Based Learning Work on complete mini-projects (e.g., residential units, commercial interiors, fit-outs). Apply concepts in real-world contexts—layouts, modeling, annotations, and construction documents. ⚙️ Tool Mastery & Best Practices Teach clean model practices, template setup, file linking, and parametric family creation. Share industry workflows used in firms, including worksets, phasing, and collaboration strategies. 🧩 Flexible & Adaptive Sessions are scheduled based on your availability. I adjust depth and content based on progress—spending more time on areas where you need support. 📈 Progress Reviews & Support Periodic reviews to track your growth and confidence. Provide exercises, cheat sheets, and follow-up support between sessions via email or shared drive.

The Student and Tutor collaborated on an architectural design project using Revit, focusing on refining structural and aesthetic elements. They worked on designing an exit staircase, creating stepped seating in a lecture hall, and integrating an ADA-compliant ramp. Additionally, they addressed facade columns, window designs, kitchen layouts, and prepared the model for material application in Twin Motion for an upcoming presentation.

The Student and Tutor reviewed architectural renderings in Revit, addressing specific feedback related to window frames, flooring, shelving, and overall perspective. They discussed modifications to wall positions, staircase details, and the sustainability block diagram. The tutor will send references, and the student will begin implementing the changes, sending screenshots for review to ensure accurate execution.

Render Correction: Addressing Frame Issues
The student and tutor reviewed and corrected ceiling details in Revit, focusing on the conference room view. They also worked on creating ADA-compliant sink details and selecting a suitable sink family. The session concluded with a discussion on door detailing, deciding to focus on a standard door type. The student will implement the discussed changes and continue detailing other project elements.

The student and tutor worked on refining a Revit floor plan, focusing on Mullion spacing, space planning for offices and workstations, and integrating specific furniture elements. The student learned how to adjust wall settings and incorporate new design elements, such as sliding doors. The next steps involve incorporating the discussed changes and choosing appropriate workstation layouts.

The session covered the process of linking architectural and interior design models in Revit, focusing on maintaining coordination between disciplines. The student learned the workflow for linking Revit and CAD files, and the tutor showcased real-world examples of interior design projects. A follow-up session was scheduled for January to continue practicing and further develop these skills.

The student and tutor reviewed a Revit project, focusing on millwork detailing in the copy room and break room. They troubleshooted issues with missing cabinetry and object orientation, and discussed approaches to using and customizing Revit families. The student will continue working on the community center project and meet again on Saturday.
