Architecture concept taught by bhavleen
Bhavleen tutored Raimi on using Revit, specifically focusing on grouping elements, working with levels, creating and adjusting walls, using underlays, and employing the 'Align' command for precise modeling. Raimi practiced replicating a ground floor plan in Revit. Bhavleen assigned Raimi to replicate the ground floor plan for homework and mentioned that the next session would cover staircases and different types of walls.

Bhavleen Rayat assisted Raimi Ayodele with various Revit challenges, including scaling, wall creation and modification, material application, copying elements between levels, and initial staircase design. Bhavleen provided a library file containing door types and structural columns and shared a Revit file for scale comparison. They agreed to continue the session the next day to further address these topics.

Copy-Pasting Levels
Bhavleen tutored Raimi on Revit, resolving technical issues and addressing file management and modeling errors. Raimi learned about template selection, file saving, backup management, and the differences between Revit file types. Raimi's homework is to clean up her documents folder, import a provided PDF into Revit using the correct template, and create levels based on the PDF's specifications.

Levels in Revit
Bhavleen and Raimi spent their Revit session on May 28, 2025, primarily troubleshooting screen sharing issues in Google Meet. They attempted various methods to share Raimi's Revit screen, including screen selection and maximization, but ultimately decided to share the Revit file via email due to persistent technical difficulties.

Bhavleen is giving Raimi a Revit tutorial covering basic setup (version, template, units), interface navigation (Project Browser, Properties panel, Quick Access Toolbar, tabs), and fundamental concepts like wall types, file types (.RVT, .RTE, .RFA), and key tabs (Architecture, Structure, Systems, Insert, Annotate, Analyze, Massing & Site, Collaborate, View, Manage, Modify). They specifically focused on the "Modify" tab's "Move" and "Copy" commands. Raimi will practice these commands on small residential units and bring up a wall issue in the next session, which is tentatively scheduled for 9:00 AM the next day. They also discussed background noise and deleting old projects from the Revit opening screen.
