Class overview
Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine advanced techniques, I adapt the pace and content to maximize your learning experience. 🧭 Personalized Learning Path Begin with a short assessment to understand your current level, learning objectives, and preferred workflow. Tailor the sessions to align with your academic needs, professional projects, or software certification goals. 💻 Live, Interactive Sessions Use screen sharing and real-time modeling to guide you step-by-step. Encourage active participation—students build along with me to reinforce learning. Sessions are recorded (optional) so you can revisit complex concepts at your own pace. 🧱 Project-Based Learning Work on complete mini-projects (e.g., residential units, commercial interiors, fit-outs). Apply concepts in real-world contexts—layouts, modeling, annotations, and construction documents. ⚙️ Tool Mastery & Best Practices Teach clean model practices, template setup, file linking, and parametric family creation. Share industry workflows used in firms, including worksets, phasing, and collaboration strategies. 🧩 Flexible & Adaptive Sessions are scheduled based on your availability. I adjust depth and content based on progress—spending more time on areas where you need support. 📈 Progress Reviews & Support Periodic reviews to track your growth and confidence. Provide exercises, cheat sheets, and follow-up support between sessions via email or shared drive.

Architecture concepts taught by bhavleen
The session involved practical training in Revit, focusing on precise architectural modeling. The student practiced correcting window heights, modifying dimensions, and creating new elements like walls and stairs based on reference plans. They also learned to create floors and prepare views for documentation, with plans to continue working on sheet setup and element placement in future sessions.
Creating Similar Elements (CS Command)
Adjusting Window Heights and Sills
Floor Creation and Boundary Definition
Staircase Creation and Customization in Revit
Using the Align Tool in Revit
The student and tutor worked through practical AutoCAD challenges, specifically focusing on creating site plans and managing drawing layouts. They discussed calculating construction ratios and resolving technical issues within AutoCAD files, with plans to refine the CAD file by copying updated elements.
Lot Coverage Calculation
Floor Area Ratio (FAR)
Vicinity Map Creation
AutoCAD Viewports and Layers
Page Setup and Title Blocks in CAD
The class focused on Revit software, specifically on customizing title blocks and accurately dimensioning floor plans. The student practiced modifying title block elements, incorporating logos, and learned techniques for editing and adding dimensions to walls and openings, ensuring accuracy and consistency with reference plans. The next session will involve continuing with dimensioning and potentially adding doors and windows.

Dimension Editing and Alignment in Revit
Creating Wall Openings in Revit
Family Editing and Loading Workflow
The student and tutor worked on 3D modeling in SketchUp, focusing on creating woodworking joinery features like pocket holes and modeling architectural elements such as pitched ceilings. They practiced scene management, using guides and precise measurements, and addressed challenges with tools like offset and tape measure. The session concluded with planning casework dimensions, encountering issues with grid placement and line adjustment.

The student and tutor attempted to review a Revit project, focusing on a demolition plan and title block. Significant technical difficulties with file uploading and screen sharing repeatedly interrupted the session, preventing a thorough review of the student's work. The tutor and student agreed to address these connectivity issues.
