Class overview
Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine advanced techniques, I adapt the pace and content to maximize your learning experience. 🧭 Personalized Learning Path Begin with a short assessment to understand your current level, learning objectives, and preferred workflow. Tailor the sessions to align with your academic needs, professional projects, or software certification goals. 💻 Live, Interactive Sessions Use screen sharing and real-time modeling to guide you step-by-step. Encourage active participation—students build along with me to reinforce learning. Sessions are recorded (optional) so you can revisit complex concepts at your own pace. 🧱 Project-Based Learning Work on complete mini-projects (e.g., residential units, commercial interiors, fit-outs). Apply concepts in real-world contexts—layouts, modeling, annotations, and construction documents. ⚙️ Tool Mastery & Best Practices Teach clean model practices, template setup, file linking, and parametric family creation. Share industry workflows used in firms, including worksets, phasing, and collaboration strategies. 🧩 Flexible & Adaptive Sessions are scheduled based on your availability. I adjust depth and content based on progress—spending more time on areas where you need support. 📈 Progress Reviews & Support Periodic reviews to track your growth and confidence. Provide exercises, cheat sheets, and follow-up support between sessions via email or shared drive.

Architecture concepts taught by bhavleen
The student and tutor worked on architectural design software, focusing on applying moldings, managing wall finishes, and troubleshooting placement issues. They practiced using various design tools and discussed strategies for creating clear and accurate project documentation, including legends and finish codes. The next session will continue this work.
Wall Sweep for Moldings
Using 'Create Similar' and 'Add/Remove Wall'
Handling Object Visibility and Placement Issues
Annotation and Detailing in Elevations and Plans
Material Application and Editing
The student and tutor worked on a Revit architectural design, focusing on connecting walls correctly, adjusting wall thicknesses to meet specifications (12-inch exterior, 6-inch interior), and integrating a grid system. They also discussed potential design features like an entrance trellis and added a preliminary roof structure.
Geometric Alignment and Grid Systems
Wall Thickness and Type Adjustment
Multi-Level Design and Copying Elements
Entrance Design and Visual Cues
Hexagonal Geometry in Design
The student and tutor worked on refining a Revit model, focusing on fixing graphical elements, applying materials, and preparing presentation sheets. They addressed issues with object visibility, material rendering, and used detail lines to represent specific architectural elements in plans, concluding with a demonstration of applying paint to walls.
Controlling Visibility and Object Hiding in Revit Views
Guide Grids for Viewport Alignment
Detail Lines and Line Styles in Revit
Managing Material Appearance in Revit
The Tutor and Student worked extensively in Revit, focusing on refining architectural design elements. They addressed title block customization, viewport adjustments, grid line management, furniture layout, material application for finishes, and updating fixture families. The session concluded with reviewing and applying families via email to the student's project.

Sheet and View Management in Revit
The student and tutor worked on developing a building's architectural design in Revit, focusing on creating a hexagonal-inspired form with a central open space and integrating a staircase. They experimented with wall placement, mirroring, and offsetting to achieve an inclined facade and discussed how to break down the shape into multiple elements for aesthetic and functional improvements, with plans to continue refining the design in the next session.
