Class overview
Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine advanced techniques, I adapt the pace and content to maximize your learning experience. š§ Personalized Learning Path Begin with a short assessment to understand your current level, learning objectives, and preferred workflow. Tailor the sessions to align with your academic needs, professional projects, or software certification goals. š» Live, Interactive Sessions Use screen sharing and real-time modeling to guide you step-by-step. Encourage active participationāstudents build along with me to reinforce learning. Sessions are recorded (optional) so you can revisit complex concepts at your own pace. š§± Project-Based Learning Work on complete mini-projects (e.g., residential units, commercial interiors, fit-outs). Apply concepts in real-world contextsālayouts, modeling, annotations, and construction documents. āļø Tool Mastery & Best Practices Teach clean model practices, template setup, file linking, and parametric family creation. Share industry workflows used in firms, including worksets, phasing, and collaboration strategies. š§© Flexible & Adaptive Sessions are scheduled based on your availability. I adjust depth and content based on progressāspending more time on areas where you need support. š Progress Reviews & Support Periodic reviews to track your growth and confidence. Provide exercises, cheat sheets, and follow-up support between sessions via email or shared drive.

Architecture concepts taught by bhavleen
The Tutor guided the Student through a Revit tutorial on designing a loft conversion, covering structural modeling, roof creation, and the addition of a dormer. The Student practiced creating levels, walls, floors, and roofs, and learned about phasing and detailing. The next session will focus on creating a dormer opening.

Roof Sketching and Slope Manipulation in Revit
Modeling Walls and Floors in Revit
Revit Level and Grid Setup for Loft Conversion
The session involved the Student working with the Tutor on architectural modeling in Revit. They focused on modifying staircase elements, creating floor openings, adding railings, updating structural columns, and placing windows and curtain walls based on feedback from the Student's professor. The Student will continue working on the model.
Applying Railings
Implementing Curtain Walls and Windows
Modifying Column Dimensions and Types
Floor Creation and Editing
Creating Staircase Openings with Shafts
The Tutor and Student worked on modifying structural columns in a Revit project, changing them from concrete to steel 'I' sections and discussing construction material implications. They then began designing a library floor plan, practicing room definition, placement of openings, and initial layout of functional spaces like offices and a conference room, with a focus on spatial planning using furniture as placeholders.

Revit Family Loading and Placement
Room Tagging and Room Separators
Modifying and Creating Walls
The Tutor and Student worked on advanced Revit modeling techniques, including level management, wall constraints, group editing, and the creation of callouts. They also covered floor and ceiling construction, emphasizing best practices for material layering and component placement, with plans to continue practice sessions.

The student worked with the tutor to refine their Revit model for submission, focusing on visual presentation and detail accuracy. They practiced applying hatch patterns, managing view elements like grid lines, and adjusting graphical overrides for elevations. The session also covered sheet layout, dimensioning, and the use of break lines.

The student and tutor worked on creating detailed wall types and sections within Revit, including adding insulation to wall details and exploring 2D versus 3D detailing. They also covered managing view scales, title blocks, and creating multiple sheets for project documentation. The session concluded with a discussion on project organization and presentation within Revit.
