And I am a passionate and dedicated math instructor with about three years of experience in tutoring and working with students ranging from preschoolers to college students. As a Math instructor, my goal is for students to fully understand Math by enhancing problem-solving skills and critical thinking. When it comes to practicing Math problems, I focus more on "guiding students to think" instead of "telling them the steps". I usually use active learning methods such as Collaborative Learning and Problem-based Learning because I want them to see Math as a tool that we use every day not just some abstract problems sitting on paper. I also use Technology Integration, Personalized Learning to adapt to an individual's learning style, Assessment and Feedback to monitor my students' learning progress, and Inquiry-Based Learning to encourage curiosity by asking questions.
